The day that was yesterday.

The stars look down on creation and laugh. Shelf prices reduced, lower than a year ago. I witnessed two deaths yesterday;

1) Walking to the tram, at the Safeway car park, I saw a car run over a pigeon. I heard the sound of the tyre breaking it's wing (such a distinctive sound, so loud for such a small skeleton) before I saw what had happened. The pigeon lay on the hot concrete, helpless, almost lifeless, resigned to the fact that it would die. It's friends circling it in dismay.

2) A bee inside the tram, against the window, trying in vain to fly outside. Tiring himself and eventually giving up. As if there were a force field preventing him from getting to what seemed so close, anything, but where he was. He looks as if he were flying in the photo, to the blue beyond, possibilities infinite and limitless. Not confined and impenetrable, possibilities dead, like he/she is now. Maybe that is too cynical a view to take and someone rescued him/her. I did not want to get stung.

The street light at Walton and Walpole Streets in Kew remains on. Someone is still hung over from Australia day. See email to the council below asking them to turn it off. Feel free to send them an email yourself @ http://boroondara.vic.gov.au/footer/sundries/online-enquiry

Hi,

The street lamp at Walton and Walpole Streets in Kew is on during the day. Is it possible to have it turned off during the day? Please advise if this email needs to be forwarded to another relevant authority so that this light may be turned off during the day.

I have a blog @ http://loud-space.blogspot.com, which I will use to track how long it takes to turn the light off. Looking forward to hearing back from you and that the day treats you well.

Regards

Loud
