Everything.

To me, it seemed that the East Coast of Australia was overcast all last week. Thick grey clouds that hung over the land. Raining intermittently, always hot and humid and in Brisbane it seemed to rain all day.

Driving to Brisbane I watched landscape & people slowly change. The forests of New South Wales, it's Great Lakes, to Coff's Harbour with it's abandoned cafe and artists commune, to the Valley in Brisbane with it's drunken cowboys and cowgirls stumbling to the next bar or place to feed, hoping not to go home alone.

On the road, you see big green metal signs that inform you of how close you are to your next destination. It becomes addictive watching the kilometers to your destination decrease. Taking Tourist Drives and finding yourself in places you never knew existed. Listening to local radio. Melbourne to Canberra, Canberra to Sydney, Syndey to Coff's Harbour, Coff's Harbour to Brisbane and to the valley. Toohey's Dry, Espresso Martinis, whatever is cheapest on tap. Everyhting under Orion.
